Many times I have students complete practice math problems on a worksheet. To turn this into a paperless activity, I would present the problems either electronically or through the use of the document camera. Students would then complete them on a small individual whiteboard. I would then have students pick a multiple choice answer using the turning point anywhere. After answers were submitted, a student with the correct answer would explain their answer to the class by putting their whiteboard under the document camera.
I wish I could be there to see this! I think it will work great.
That was very good Connie! What a great way to take paper out of the lesson.
Love the idea - I hope I get a document camera!!
Ooh, I might borrow this idea! We purchased small white boards for students to use this year in math class. Their main math will be on the computer but we are going to do small group instruction based off the main page as students need the extra help in math. Think I could be added to your Moodle classes??:)
The students will love using the document camera to share how they came up with the answer. They also enjoy writing on the Smart Board if you have one.
