In the past, I had asked students to make a book of triangle properties that we had discussed throughout a unit. This project was not only a comprehensive assessment project, but also a review for additional assessment.
In a 'paper' world, I would have students choose to either draw by hand or with the assistance of the program of Geometer Sketchpad the different types of triangles. Each type of triangle was to be on a different page with all of its properties and specific elements listed (ex. Right Triangles would have the legs, hypotenuse, rt angle, congruence if applicable labeled). All pages would be stapled together and used as a resource.
In a paperless world, I would have a similar criteria of information on triangles however, I would not allow them to draw by hand. Additionally, I would have the students collaborate their materials onto a Glogster poster. The different files could be uploaded onto the Glogster therefore, NO PAPER!
