I appreciate all that Twitter is and intends to do, but like with other tech things I get lost in it and forget what the point was at times. What makes it good is the wealth of information and interaction available, but that also lets me get lost in the layers of accessibility, as though what I want may be there, but I don't know if I'm getting it or someone else's version of a way to get what they want me to get. Hopefully I'll have a gold-nugget moment where Twitter and I line up in space correctly.
I hope you will find Twitter helpful in your teaching! I agree it can be overwhelming at times.
