Twitter

 I wasn't sure what to expect from this class when I signed up for it. I couldn't understand how Twitter could benefit us. After the first hour here, I was pleasantly surprised and excited about how much I can do with Twitter. I'm always looking for new resources and I didn't realize Twitter would be such a great one.

 I understood what a tweet was, even though I never tweeted before and I could re-tweet stuff I liked, but that was basically it. I had NO IDEA what a hashtag was, other than it was the pound symbol or number symbol (#). Now I know a hashtag is when people are tweeting about the same topic. The @ symbol is how people identify you. I didn't realize you could only use 140 characters, so that explains why the tweets have to be more creative. I love the different sites, Hootsuite and TweetDeck, to help organize you feeds for easy access.

 I can't wait to see what else I'm going to learn. I'm going to leave here and tell everyone how great Twitter is!!!
