It is really interesting to think that students are "speaking" a different language from a lot of their teachers.  So much of what the article says rings true with my students.  Not all things in life can be digitized and made into a game as the article suggests, so should we totally move away from traditional education?

Not totally.  Education is and will always be slow to change.  You will have those who forge ahead and those who believe the past is the best.

There are many things that we cannot change with our "traditional" style of teaching.  I don't think that everything should be moved to a technologically based program.  It's imperative that we keep some traditional pieces of education in place, but I think it's a great idea to start incorporating technology so we don't seem so technologically stupid!

I think you have a great point.  Not everything can be digitized.  I have seen with some of my younger relatives that they become so wrapped up in technology that they forget about human interaction and they also have difficulty with some of the most basic ideas.
