I would really like to move to paperless digital password-protected student portfolios. To accomplish this, I will be using my Moodle/doc cam to paperlessly share Glogster, Examview, Wallwisher, PowerPoint, Word, etc files. I will also use the ScanSnap to convert existing paper products to PDF's.
Sounds like a good plan! I really like Glogster and think it can be used in a lot of different ways. The ScanSnap will be very helpful in making the transition.
Your plan seems to be well thought through. I feel it will decidely eliminate most of the current paper flow that exists.
Specifically, I like the idea of discussing the critical features of an expository essay using Wallwisher instead of a piece of paper. The students and I can then go back to the wall and review those features throughout the unit.
