Venus is jealous of Psyche because mortals were worshipping Psyche instead of Venus. It doesn't make sense for Venus to be jealous because she is the most beautiful woman/goddess, and she's not being very loving by wanting to do Psyche wrong.
I think it was okay to get help with her assignments because Venus was giving her nearly impossible tasks to complete and Psyche hadn't done anything herself to anger the goddess.
Nice point with the thing you said about Venus. I agree in a way, she should not be jealous since she is indeed the goddess of love and beauty and no one will take that title away from her. But wouldn't we act the same way if something like that were to happen to us?
Some might, but it's like the 2nd best runner getting admired by the fans. You're number one and everyone knows it, let someone else have a chance in the spotlight.
That's true. But Im just saying. We would all feel like we are being deprived of something. If your brother got a cookie and you didn't, you would be jealous.
