What is a podcast anyway?
A podcast is digital media files released periodically in a series. The term "podcast" originally came from the term "iPod"--even though you do not need an iPod to create one--and the word "broadcast." Users can typically subscribe to a podcast, and their computers will automatically download the newest digital media file (typically audio) each time one is released as a part of that series.
