Allowing students to draw definitions or act them out in vocabulary lessons.

I have students act out the different parts of the ear as parts of a ear model.

I used a lot of kinestetic (Sp?) movement when teaching 5th grade science

I have had the students do hand motions/a dance to help remember a concept.

Using graphic organizers to show what different informational writing styles look like, as well as, cue words, and tagging text.

Practice the steps/transition words to a summary by exercising.  Students do big jumps as they shout "In the beginning", "next"...etc.
