    • Jazz Band

      Jazz Band is an auditioned group. Auditions are open to students who play saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, drum set , guitar, bass and piano.

      Auditions materials will be posted immediately following Thanksgiving break and auditions will be held during the last week of school before the December holiday break. (See below for exact dates).

      Students will prepare audition materials on their own (or with the aid of their private teacher). Audition materials will not be taught during school.

      Rehearsals will begin on the first Friday in January, and each Friday thereafter, from 3:00-4:15.

      AUDITIONS

      Thursday-Friday, December 18-19, 2014-sign up for a time on the band bulletin board. 

      Performances:

      Saturday, April ?, 2015 Hanover Jazz Fest, 4:30-9:30 PM

      Friday, May ?, 2015  Spring Grove Jazz Fest, 5:00-9:00 PM

      Wednesday, April 22, 2015 -Spring Band Concert, 7:30 MS auditorium

      Tuesday, May 5, 2015 Cherry Lane, Downtown York, 10:00-2:00
