Assignment: Share some things about yourself

Use the discussion forum to share the following about yourself. This will allow your teacher and classmates to get to know you better. You are given some choices so only share what you feel comfortable sharing.

Share your name
Share which generation you are
Share what your ancestry is -- what are the countries of origin that your family comes from?

Then share your answers toat least two of the following:

Do you own family items that have been handed down through the generations?
Were you born here or did you immigrate? Where did you arrive?
Have you ever visited the country of origin of your ancestry?
Do you prepare foods from your country of ancestry? Are there any customs of your country of ancestry you observe?
Do you participate in any cultural activities of your home country?
Do you communicate with family and friends in your country of origin/ancestry?
Do you celebrate any specific holidays of your country of origin/ancestry? Has your family created a family tree?
If you do not know much about your ancestry, have you moved around the country at all? Why?
You are also free to share anything else that you think other students might find interesting -- interesting people you are related to, interesting stories that your family has passed down from generation to generation, etc.

2) Then give your post a title and write your thoughts
3) When you are done click on Post to Forum.
4) Make sure to go back and read the posts of the other students. I would like you to comment on two people's posts. You may comment on something that you have in common, something that you found interesting or surprising, etc. Comments must be positive.
5) Then you may move on to the next module.
