In the past reading the main topic was the ancient sources of roman and Greek mythology. For the responses of the questions I said that the purpose of Greek and Roman mythology was the way people explained the world around th and how things would work. The myths show that the Greeks were very close to the visible things around them and how they explained these processes to make sense. One of the Ancient Greek sources was the Odyssey written by Homer. This source is very important with the history of the Greeks because it explains the way the Greeks thought. It is one of the oldest documents of Greek literature in existence. There are many myths in today's culture. One thing that could be considered a myth is the bible. For those who don't necessarily believe in the Christian religion would view the bible as a book of stories or myths. As the many texts used in Greek mythology.
