Assignment: What would you bring?

Imagine that you had to leave your home and move to another country, just as so many immigrants did. Now imagine that all you could bring with you was a trunk and whatever you could fit inside, just as so many immigrants did.
Your trunk is about three feet long and two feet high. In it you must put everything you want to take with you -- clothes, mementos, things that are important to you. Everything else will be left behind. What will you bring?
Here are some examples of trunks that immigrants used:
For your assignment, explain what things you will bring with you and why. Remember that you are moving to a new land -- what will you need in order to begin life successfully there? Be detailed! Remember, everything that does not fit in the trunk is left behind. Also, please explain which two items were the most painful to leave behind and why.
***You may want to take digital photos of the things you would bring and include these in your document along with your explanations.
To complete the assignment, please do the following:
1) Type your thoughts (and include pictures) and save your document as (last name)Bring in Microsoft Word. (For example, JohnsonBring). Make sure to edit it, etc.
2) Below, click on browse.
3) Find your file and open it
4) Your file should appear in the little box.
5) Click on Upload this file to send it
This assignment is worth 10 points. When you are done you may move on to the next module.
