WELCOME to Business Management! The business world is constantly changing because technology and society are changing more rapidly than ever before. Competition is fiercer than ever, because companies from all over the world now try to sell their products and services to the same customers. Workplaces have become increasingly diverse, as minorities, women, and new immigrants participate in growing numbers. All these changes have created new challenges for managers--the people who operate businesses.

During the trimester we will be discussing how managers impact a business, what roles managers play within a company, characteristics a manager should have, how a diverse workforce has changed the role of managers, and many other topics.
