Objective: The Introduction to Classical Mythology gives information about ancient sources that can be used to gain information about mythology.This forum will discuss these sources.

2) Choose one of the ancient Greek or Roman sources. Describe this source. How has this source been important throughout history? How is this source still important today? Why?


3) Share and discuss everyone’s research. What do these sources have in common? What do they, as a whole, say about Greek and Roman mythology?


4) What myths exist in our own culture? What ancient sources exist to support these myths? What sources today might someday be considered important sources that support our myths? Explain.
